Chipper-

A 1940s kitsch Chippendale style bamboo chair updated with Kvadrat Vidar pink wool. Stripped and lacquered in a vibrant red, with all signs of a vintage, historic piece.

 

Hand finished and upholstered  by BPL in her London studio, the Chipper chair was created with the bones of an original 1940s frame, completely stripped back and coated with layers of lacquer for a rich sheen. 

 

All of BPL’s pieces are inspired by a magpie's eye to create unique, covetable treasures to last a lifetime and more. Barbara hopes these pieces will be cherished and passed down through generations. Each piece is worked by hand in London from start to finish one at a time. Due to the nature of handwork, each piece varies, making it unique.
