Massey Chair-

Hand finished and upholstered  by BPL in her East London studio, the Massey armchair was created with the bones of a damaged East German 1960s frame. The chair was completely stripped back, bleached, oiled and rebuilt with Pirelli webbing, foam, and wool barrier.

A one off original 1960s piece, with stunning angular, dynamic lines, upholstered in Raf Simons for Kvadrat fabrics.

 

All of BPL’s pieces are inspired by a magpie's eye to create unique, covetable treasures to last a lifetime and more. Barbara hopes these pieces will be cherished and passed down through generations. Each piece is made from start to finish one at a time. Due to the nature of handwork, each piece may vary ever so slightly.
