How It Works

Drop me a line

Maybe it starts with a photo, a chair you found in the attic or just an idea. Give me a brief description with measurements and photographs. And I'll come back to you with an estimate on cost & a rough idea of how much fabric you'll need.

From there, we can have a face to face chat about options
to transform your piece. We can also begin exploring the wide world of  fabrics and passementerie--whatever takes your fancy!


If desired, I can provide moodboards & reference images to help you perfect your design. Don't worry if you've never done this before--this should be fun, informative & a chance for you to tell me all about what you want & need.

I'll recommend, source and edit the materials for you, so you won't feel swamped by choices. I'll send swatches to your home or office, where you can see the fabrics in situ. Together, we'll choose what suits your piece best. We will then book your piece in for its appointment!



Once your furniture is with us in the workshop, we'll get down to the bare bones. If there's anything to save–or any interesting discoveries!–I'll communicate with you every step of the way.


Furniture are amazing artifacts from the past and reveal fascinating glimpses of history. As we strip the pieces back, we'll carefully & considerately lay a new foundation for years
to come.  When your piece is ready, we can work with my courier or yours to arrange delivery.
